How fitting that these little gems are blooming again in my garden right now! I am just days away from moving out of this area and I find I have have been more mindful of the sights and smells indigenous(sp) to this area.. The smell of the bay at low tide, the sound of the fishing boat horns as they come into the jetty,rainbows, the smell of roasting coffee beans that can be detected all over Eureka on given days from Humboldt Bay Coffee co. And forget me nots that only grow where it is wet and shady. I will miss it here but I will never forget.
Just think about all the vitamin D you are about to get!
